Since the mid-80’s, Dr. Jerry Benjamin, a servant of the
Gospel of Jesus Christ, travels extensively in the United
States, Canada, and other parts of the world as an
“Itinerant Bible Teacher.” Commended by the brethren, he
proclaims the simply singular message of the living and
indwelling Lord Jesus — exalting the Saviour so that Christ
may have the preeminence in and over everything in our
lives.
His purpose is to introduce sinners to their Saviour, and to
refresh and strengthen the spirits of the saints.
The teaching is a clear, simple, devotional, yet challenging
Biblical exposition of the Scriptures, focusing on the
Person of Christ. Emphasis is given to the centrality of
Christ in all of Scripture. Jerry’s Jewish upbringing prior
to salvation adds rich insights while interweaving themes
and practical applications all concentrating on the Person
and work of our blessed and most precious Saviour, the Lord
Jesus Christ.
Throughout the year, Jerry preaches in churches, speaks at
Bible Conferences, teaches “home Bible studies,” and is a
Visiting Faculty at several Bible colleges, graduate
schools, and seminaries as well as a Guest Lecturer at the
Torchbearers/Capernwray Bible Schools, both in North America
and overseas.
As Jerry ministers with his wife, Linda, and daughter,
Katie, traveling over 100,000 miles a year, he has purposed
to serve the Lord by going anywhere to teach the Word of God
to those desiring to know the Person of the Word, the Lord
Jesus Christ. They are a “faith ministry,” charging no fees,
but trusting God to provide the necessary resources for
their livelihood through gifts from churches and individuals
who have been blessed by the ministry.
As a Bible teacher and author of the Little Nuggets Series,
Jerry’s ministry is that of a “signpost,” pointing others to
our destination — the Person and all-sufficiency of the One
Who is all-together Lovely, our precious Saviour, the Lord
Jesus Christ.
